English savaged the line for success in her racing return a fortnight ago and remains clear $4.40 favourite in 2016 The Galaxy betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au as a result.

Posting three wins and a minor through only five career starts so far, English immediately stamped herself as a filly to follow upon debuting to racing for success in the Barrack Point Maiden (1000m) in January last year.

Making a successful transition to black type racing when taking out the Group 2 Reisling Stakes (1200m) in March, the daughter of Encosta De Lago charged home to finish second behind stable mate Vancouver in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m), but had clearly had enough by the time she finished sixth in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).

Unlucky to miss the entire Spring Carnival with injury, English delivered a talented field a comfortable defeat in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes (1000m) first-up this time on March 5th.

Tommy Berry retains the ride on English, who will carry only 51kgs in The Galaxy 2016.

Fell Swoop was unlucky to finish an agonizingly-close second in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) first-up this time and currently occupies the second line of The Galaxy betting at a quote of $6 alongside Terravista and third emergency runner Malaguerra.

Securing eight race wins and two minors through eleven career starts, Fell Swoop resumed in spring for fourth in the Bledisloe Cup Festival BM80 (1000m) on July 11th before taking out his next four starts, including both the Listed Cup Club Stakes (1200m) and Listed Testa Rossa Stakes (1200m).

Allocated barrier 8, the Not A Single Doubt gelding has been confirmed to be partnered by notable hoop Brenton Avdulla in The Galaxy.

Terravista has returned to racing in typically slick form this time and arguably offers punters the best value for money in The Galaxy betting markets at his current $6 quote.

A Group 1 winner having taken out the 2014 edition of the Darley Classic, Terravista produced a number of impressive efforts through 2015 without being able to post a second race win at the highest level.

Running an agonizingly-close second to Chautauqua in the Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1000m) first-up on February 20th, the Captain Rio gelding will leave from the ideal barrier 3 with champion hoop Hugh Bowman in the saddle.

Our Boy Malachi failed at his most recent start but is worth consideration for a bet at The Galaxy odds of $10 for success, while Oakleigh Plate winner Flamberge has continued to firm to a quote of $17, to register as clear market mover.
