Russian Revolution is yet to make an appearance at the races this year, but remains the outright $5 in 2017 The Galaxy betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Russian Revolution immediately stamped himself as a colt to follow upon debuting in autumn last year; posting consecutive wins in the Schweppes Maiden Plate (1100m) and Can Assist Volunteers Plate (1200m) before being returned to the paddock.

Resuming in spring for a smart win in the Group 3 Vain Stakes (1100m), the Snitzel colt repeated the effort in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) before running fourth in the talent-rich Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) on Derby Day.

English is yet to herald much interest in 2017 The Galaxy betting markets, but remains the sole occupant of the second line at a $6 quote.

English capped an impressive 2016 Autumn Carnival campaign with strong performances for third in the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) and a success in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m).

While failing to come up in the spring, the Encosta De Lago mare resumed this time for an impressive win in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes (1000m) and should relish the conditions of The Galaxy, particularly with Blake Shinn in the saddle.

Fell Swoop clearly required a run when sixth in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) first-up, but has the notable advantage of Hugh Bowman in the saddle and will undoubtedly improve into this race.

Finishing in the minors in each of the Oakleigh Plate and TJ Smith Stakes last autumn, the Not A Single Doubt gelding resumed in spring for third in the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes (1000m) before running a close second in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) on October 21st.

Returned to the paddock after he ran a close third in the Group 1 Darley Classic (1200m), Fell Swoop was luckless in running in the Oakleigh Plate first-up, but worked to the line well to finish sixth of seventeen.

Music Magnate ($8), Redzel ($8), Heatherly ($9.50) and Supido are the only other runners currently available at The Galaxy odds of less-than $10 at Ladbrokes.com.au.
